Tralee Tidy Towns

The work of Tralee Tidy Towns involves litter picking; the planting and upkeep of green areas; and the delivery of community driven, sustainability and biodiversity enhancement projects in Tralee. It aims to enhance the physical and social environment of Tralee Towns and its environs with particular reference to: ❖ The general improvement, enrichment and development of the environment for both residents, businesses and visitors alike. ❖ To encourage our community to keep Tralee and its environs litter free. ❖ The development and promotion of community spirit and pride and to encourage active participation and involvement of individuals, groups and organisations in environmental initiatives. ❖ To maintain and enhance the approach roads, streets and lanes, residential areas and public places. ❖ To develop a Greener, more environmentally friendly Tralee. ❖ To develop and improve the built heritage. ❖ To create, develop and maintain innovative and effective projects and initiatives with a view to addressing local challenges. ❖ To represent Tralee Tidy Towns in the National Tidy Towns competition, and any other competitions as deemed beneficial to the promotion of the Town.
