Music Generation Kerry

Music Generation is a national partnership programme whose mission is to create inspiring experiences for children and young people through music. Music Generation Kerry is one of five national expansion areas in place since September 2019 offering subsidised music programmes that transform children and young people’s lives by giving them opportunities to create, play and perform music in their own communities and on their own terms. Music Generation Kerry is currently operating in over 20 primary, post-primary and early years settings throughout the county and provides instruments and resources to schools and young people to support the programme. Music Generation Kerry also provides significant employment opportunities for musicians in their local area.
