Na Gaeil GAA CLG


Na Gaeil CLG is the youngest GAA club in Kerry. Na Gaeil is situated on the Northern side of Tralee and caters for over four hundred juveniles, boys and girls, from six to eighteen. We cater for all age groups from Under six to Senior, both male and female, and we also cater for men and women who no longer play competitively. 2017 has been a very successful year for the club. Our senior team has been promoted to Division 2 County League for the first time in our history. Both our under 16 and under 14 boys won Division 2 of their county league We had three players on the victorious Kerry Minor panel in the All-Ireland Final, last weekend. Na Gaeil also had players on the Kerry Senior team, Kerry under 21 team and on the Kerry Under 17 team. Allied with winning 2017 Ladies Club of the year in Kerry we are represented in all the Kerry Development squads..Na Gaeil Ladies have been successful at Under12, Under 14 and Under 16 reaching the concluding stages in all competitions. Our Senior Ladies are still involved in the Mary Jo Curran A Final and Div. 2 County League. We have girls in the Kerry Under 11 and Under 12 development teams. We also had two girls in the Kerry Under 14 team that lost the All-Ireland Final, one girl in the Kerry Under 16, two girls in the Kerry Minor Panel and two players on the Kerry Senior Panel. We recently received accolade of Juvenile Club of the Year for the first time – beating stiff competition from around the county – we promote physical activity, cultural inclusion and overall an open door policy to everyone in our local community
