Annascaul Community Care Company

The organisation was set up in the early 1980s to provide services for the older members of the Annascaul area. A building in Annascaul Village was purchased , renovated and opened in 1981. Weekly Whist Drives have been held all down the years and fortnightly lunches are held (pre Covid) from October to May. Masses and get-together, Christmas lunch parties with entertainment for Senior Citizens are held. These events help to alleviate loneliness in our very rural community. They also help Senior Citizens to live happily in their own homes. this has continued through the years.
