6th kerry Scouts

Scouting Ireland is a voluntary, uniformed, non-formal educational movement for young people. The Aim of Scouting is to develop young people Socially, Physically, Intellectually, Character, Emotionally and Spiritually. These elements are called the SPICES and are deeply integrated into the programme experience via the Scout Method, Personal Progress Awards and Programme designed by young people. The aims of the organisation are achieved through young people: working in small teams lead by the young people themselves, life skills development and a strong emphasis on outdoor sports and activities.
