Tarbert Bridewell CLG

The principal activity of Tarbert Bridewell CLG, is to benefit the community through the operation of Tarbert Bridewell Museum which provides facilities for historical exhibitions, education, the arts, culture, heritage, recreational activities and meeting rooms for other charitable organisations. Tarbert Bridewell was built in the 1800’s and fell into serious disrepair. Tarbert Bridewell Group was set up to purchase and restore the building. It is a Listed Building and we continue to preserve the fabric of the building & exhibition. We oversee the daily operation of the museum and promote the educational & historical value of the building. Tarbert Bridewell is owned by the community and a Board of Trustees hold it trust for the people of Tarbert.
