Cheshire Kerry

Cheshire Ireland provides quality services to adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities at a medium and high level of need. We provide individualized supports to promote wellbeing, independence, and quality of life for all people who use our services in environments which safeguard the individual’s rights. We support people who are aged between 18 years and 65 years (on date of admission) who have disabilities which include but not limited to Cerebral Palsy; Multiple Sclerosis; Spina Bifida/Hydrocephalus; Stroke; and Acquired Brain Injury. People are supported in a variety of ways depending on their requirements. The main functions of staff are to support people when needed in areas such as clinical support, personal care, transfers/mobility, continence, medication management, showering/bathing, preparation of meals, eating, laundry, money management, and community involvement – supporting individuals to engage in social and recreational pursuits. Support in advocacy, tenancy, is also undertaken.
