The Community Support Fund 2026 is now open and is offering supports to community-based projects and initiatives in Kerry.

Applications are welcomed from voluntary and non-profit making groups and organisations in County Kerry whose primary focus is the development or promotion of the local community or the development of a project that will benefit a group in the community.  Applications for funding must come within the definition of one of the following five categories of support:

  • Connected, Inclusive & Resilient Communities
  • Community Tidy Town Initiatives, Amenity Projects & Environmentally Sustainable Projects
  • Community Economic Innovation
  • Community Based Tourism, Festivals and Events
  • Local Community Safety Initiatives

A total of €850,000 is being made available through this year’s scheme, which is now in its twelfth year.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Monday 19th January, 2026.
