Kenmare Bowls Club
Kenmare Bowling Club is an indoor sports club. The sport of short mat bowling provides many benefits. The sport itself is skill based giving equal opportunities for progression. Skilled members coach others, local and national competitions are entered and won, (for those who wish to participate), coffee breaks on club days provide social enjoyment for all. We also invite other Kerry Bowling Clubs to compete in Kenmare. Exercise keeps us mobile, strong, and contributes to general, mental and physical health. Friendships develop. Any adult over 18 yrs may join. Ages range from 46 yrs to 91 yrs. We fulfill many community and individual needs in the Kenmare area. The club has prospered since its foundation in 2010. Due to our age profile we need support putting out equipment (heavy mats) and administrative assistance to assist the work of the committee.
