The Corca Dhuibhne Food Network is a company limited by guarantee. The main object for the Network established is to support, enable, represent and preserve all aspects of food in Corca Dhuibhne, and its surrounding waters, to grow a secure, thriving and sustainable food community on the Dingle Peninsula. Bia Dingle – Corca Dhuibhne Food Network is the dynamic, collaborative, food-focused association representing the whole of the Dingle Peninsula. We are Farmers; Fishers; Producers; Growers; Foragers; Chefs, Restauranteurs; Hosts; Guides; Partners; and Champions, joined in celebration of the food history and heritage of this precious place. We aspire to connect a love and respect for our place, our produce, our stories, and our language with the world in a more sustainable manner for the sake of progeny. The food, the land, and the culture of the Corca Dhuibhne have a Blas – a taste – worth experiencing, a story worth hearing, and legacy worth preserving. Its Subsidiary Objectives include: Represent and promote the Bia Dingle Brand and its members, locally, nationally and internationally. Preserve and share the history, heritage and traditions of food on the Dingle Peninsula with locals and visitors alike. ‘Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine’. Enable the network members to cooperate, collaborate, support and promote each other, while sharing their knowledge and experience with existing and new food ventures. Enable future generations to have genuine opportunities to live and work well on our peninsula. Support members in developing immersive food experiences, for visitors to stay longer and leave better. Enable commercial opportunities for its members. Enable collective procurement, representation and promotion for its members. Represent the network for research and outreach opportunities.
