Cloghane Brandon Walking Development Group

Established in May 2021,we are a voluntary group of seven individuals affiliated with, but separate from, Comharchumann Forbartha an Leith Triúigh Teo. Our mission, working with the local community, is to develop the Cloghane Brandon area as a Walking Destination region by developing a range of walking trails. In 2022 we upgraded a local walk – Siúlóid Sás – and in 2023 we developed our first new walking trail – Slí na nGallán – which was approved as a national trail by Sports Ireland. In 2024 we plan to develop a second walk -Siulóid Ceann Duimche incorporating Fermoyle Beach.
