Kerry Public Participation Network and Kerry Age Friendly Programme
The campaign #InThisTogether which the Government launched encourages everyone to pick a new activity which could help them to feel a little healthier or a little better as we deal with Covid-19.
#InThisTogether Campaign is a national campaign aimed at promoting activity, mental wellbeing and staying connected during the COVID-19 emergency.
Reinforcing this campaign, a national media campaign entitled “Hold Firm” was launched. This campaign encourages people to Hold Firm and was inspired by the poem, “Take Care”, written by our President, Michael D. Higgins
Kerry County Council commenced the local rollout of this ‘In This Together’ initiative when Healthy Kerry launched the Kerry Step Challenge https://www.healthykerry.ie/ .
Each week a new initiative will be launched and promoted.
With this in mind, the Kerry Public Participation Network working collaboratively with Kerry Age Friendly Programme coordinator Siobhan Griffin are delighted to be able to share this Gratitude Journal with everyone.
Please feel free to download, below share and enjoy.
This campaign recognises that the impacts are felt by everybody, however for some people, in certain circumstances, the new normal is very challenging. Please also see the new Kerry Community Supports and Contacts information sheet.
‘In This Together Kerry’ is being spearheaded by a group comprising Kerry County Council’s Community Department, the Kerry Public Participation Network, the Kerry Age Friendly Programme, Healthy Kerry and Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership.
