Thursday 22 March @7pm : Community Climate Action Workshop, Caherciveen

Organised by Transition Kerry. This free 3-hour workshop will take place in the  Asana School of English, Quay Street Caherciveen. This is being coordinated locally by Oonagh O Connor (  087 653 3777) for Transition Skellig Coast.

Meeting for tea at 6.30pm for a 7pm start…most civilised.

Each workshop will look at issues including energy, transport, food, biodiversity and waste as we try to climate proof our homes.

We will also focus on patterns of consumption and how this impacts on climate and community resilience.

There will be practical discussions on how local communities can find solutions in their own homes, schools, places of work and community spaces relating to the impacts and challenges posed by a changing climate.

To register please contact Niamh @ 086 724 7066.

These workshops are supported by Kerry County Council through the Community Support Fund.
