The Kerry Public Participation Network in collaboration with The Disability Federation of Ireland hosted a series of Consultation workshop entitled
“Access for all – Disability / Community Awareness”
These consultation workshops were targeted at various sectors of the community to highlight, document and give an awareness of the challenges people with disabilities face within our society.
The end result of the four Municipal District workshops will be a comprehensive report outlining the issues people with disabilities face within our community and how we can affect change.
Our thanks to all those who attended and shared their views and information with us and each other. The report from these workshops in Listowel, Killarney Tralee.and Killorglin will be collated over the coming days.
A County wide report will be prepare before the end of the year and having been presented the the Council it will be circulated to all the S.P.C.’s and any organsation which could be assisted by the information included.
